Antonio graduated with a BSc Honours degree from Kings College London and also attained a diploma in sports massage during his studies, enhancing his expertise in hands-on therapeutic techniques. Antonio’s diverse experience spans various settings, including sports medicine, elderly care, orthopaedics, and rehabilitation, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy and its applications across different populations.
Antonio has a keen interest in sports and sports injuries, driven by his passion for helping athletes achieve peak performance and recover from injuries efficiently. His notable experience includes providing physiotherapy services to athletes at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he applied his skills in a high-pressure, elite sports environment. This experience has equipped him with unique insights into the demands and challenges faced by professional athletes.
In his clinical practice, Antonio focuses on personalised and evidence-based care, tailoring treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each client. He employs a range of therapeutic techniques, from manual therapy and exercise prescription to shockwave therapy and other advanced modalities, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation and wellness. Antonio has had the privilege of working alongside leading orthopaedic consultants at St George’s Hospital and Kings College Hospital, further deepening his knowledge and expertise in the field.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Antonio enjoys boxing and playing padel, sports that complement his interest in sports injuries and performance enhancement. He also loves travelling, which allows him to explore new cultures and stay active.
Antonio is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development, regularly attending courses and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physiotherapy.
